HOWARD — More than two dozen protesters gathered outside Governor Scott Walker's fundraiser in Howard Tuesday.
Many held signs with slogans such as "Walker: Your Pink Slip is coming!" and "Walker. Puppet of the Bourgeoisie."
Some even stood on top of vehicles and shouted through megaphones.
While some of the protesters were affiliated with unions, others came on their own.
"Those were good jobs. People deserve to earn a good, fair wage in this state, and we're not seeing that. We've seen the public sector workers torn apart. The private sector workers are against the public sector workers, and he's created nothing but a war," said Jayne Rulseh of Two Rivers.
Walker's stop with New Jersey Governor Chris Christie comes ahead of next week's recall primaries.
Walker will face Arthur Kohl-Riggs in the GOP primary. The Democratic recall primary features Kathleen Falk, Kathleen Vinehout, Tom Barrett, Doug La Follette and Gladys Huber.
The general recall election is June 5.
