Stupak joins Supreme Court Bar

MENOMINEE, Mich. (AP) — Former Democratic Congressman Bart Stupak now is a member of the U.S. Supreme Court Bar.

WLUC-TV reports the 60-year-old from Michigan's Upper Peninsula who works as an attorney says it's a "good fit" to be able to practice law before the Supreme Court.

Stupak was sworn in this week. He served in the U.S. House from 1993 to 2010.
